Alpine Meadows ski resort does not have any employee housing. Most of our employees find places to live by checking the local newspapers, contacting the local rental agency (Housing Connection) looking at bulletin boards and networking with other ski area employees. Finding a place to live can be challenging. Your housing search will be easier if you are able to arrive or contact potential housing early, i.e., September or October. Most housing requires first and last month’s rents, plus a security deposit.

Alpine Meadows employees are able to ride TART (the local public bus) to work at Alpine for free. TART runs from Incline Village on the east shore, Tahoma on the west shore, and Truckee.

Housing Opportunities

There are a few motels on the north shore of Lake Tahoe that offer discounts to ski area employees and short term housing. Websites to check include www.tamarackattahoe.com and www.big7motel.com.
