After a great day on the hill stop in to to Alpine Bar where you can enjoy live music, a cold apres drink and good company. 

Recognized as one of Tahoe’s most unique spots to gather with friends and catch a few rays of the Sierra’s famous winter sunshine, the Ice Bar is a party every day during the ski season.  The grand opening is Alpine’s way of celebrating the Ice Bar, it’s inevitable snowball battles, live on-snow music, and casual inviting ambiance usually reserved for the beach.

Alpine Meadows joins the National Ski Area Association in promoting safety awareness throughout the resort. Remember to wear your helmet, slather on that sunscreen, and be knowledgeable about avalanche awareness. 

Renowned outdoor adventure go-to shop, Alpenglow Sports will again partner with Alpine Meadows to host one of the region's most highly anticipated on-snow touring and split-boarding demo days. Those looking to test-drive the latest gear free of charge can choose from brands like Black Diamond, Dynafit, G3, Scarpa, Salomon, Garmont, Marker, Volkl, DPS, Moment, Venture Snowboards and SkiLogic. This event is free to all, but participants must possess a valid lift ticket or season pass. Registration will occur onsite.

Get a job this winter at Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows! Working at Squaw and Alpine offers you the opportunity to mix fun and recreation, make lifetime friendships, garner personal achievements and get valuable work experience. The Job Fair will be held in Olympic House at Squaw Valley. Applicants must apply online prior to the Job Fair, which is by invitation only. Walk-ins will be permitted, but not guaranteed an interview.

Opening day at Alpine Meadows for the 2012-13 season is December 7, weather and conditions permitting.
