Register today for the Ability Challenge. This unique fundraiser for Disabled Sports USA Far West offers a fun and challenging day for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. Utilizing GPS technology, the Ability Challenge takes skiers around the mountain seeking checkpoints and revealing some of the most exciting runs that Alpine Meadows has to offer. In addition to the checkpoint course, the event features bonus challenges designed by pro snowboarders Andy Finch and Iris Lazzareschi, a timed hike to an expert run, a costume contest and more.

Adventure 55 is a program designed specifically for the skier or snowboarder (age 55+) who is looking to unlock the secrets to the latest in ski/snowboard technique and design. New skills, new friends and a new effortless and efficient way of skiing/riding await all participants.

Alpine Meadows joins the National Ski Areas Association in promoting safety awareness throughout the resort. Remember to wear your helmet, slather on that sunscreen and be knowledgeable about avalanche awareness. 

Be sure to swing by our safety table to meet the Alpine Meadows Patrol Dogs on January 14th & 15th as well as January 21st & 22nd. 

Don't have a helmet? Safety week is the time to purchase one as Estelle Sports will be offering 15% off all helmets. 

 

 

Come on out and take a few laps with Olympic Gold Medalist , Jonny Moseley. Intermediate and expert skiers can join Jonny at the bottom of Summit Express at 10am for a fun-filled mountain tour. If you still have some runs left in you, take the Alpine/Squaw Express with him and finish the afternoon at Squaw from 2-4pm.
