Kid's Ski and Snowboard Programs
Alpine Meadows Mountain Resort offers the finest children's ski and snowboard programs in the region. We focus on safety, fun and learning in all of our programs and our instructors are trained in the latest techniques to ensure the best opportunity for your children to learn.
Our Ski School will be closed for the 2009-2010 season as of April 18th. We've enjoyed skiing and riding with you! See you next year!
Kid's Program Preferred Parking
Save $10 on Preferred Parking by making your children's ski school reservations online. Select "Kids Camp" or "Lesson Only" to find product and purchase. Available holidays and weekends only.
Reservations
Reservations are recommended to expedite your check-in time and to ensure a spot in our programs as space can be limited. To book online now from the convenience of your home, please note reservations must be done 48 hours in advance. Alpine Club discounts cannot be combined with online discount prices. You must book over the phone to receive Alpine Club discounts. Our sales office is open from 8:00am - 4:00pm daily for more information and reservations, call us at 530.581.8200. Please note that reservations cannot be made on the day of; however, walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
Local Children's Program (Ages 4-12)
One of our most popular programs, our Local's program is designed to work for students in the local region, but all children are welcome. They meet for eight weeks during the winter, beginning early January. Weekend program offered to 4-12 year old skiers and 5-12 snowboarders. Weekday program offered to 4-6 year old skiers only. Kid's Camp (Ages 3-6)
All Kid's Camp programs include lift ticket, lesson, rental equipment and the flaik GPS system. Lunch is included in all day programs. Children participating in this program must be able to use the bathroom independently. This is an educational ski and snowboard program, not a day care.

Ability Levels
Visit this page to find your child's ability level for Munchkins, Rippers and Grommets. Groups will be divided by ability. Ability level will be assessed on the day of by our professional instructors.
Please Note:
This is an educational ski program, NOT A DAYCARE FACILITY. Children must be able to use the bathroom independently to participate in this program . All ages refer to the child's age on or before December 1, 2009. Reservations are recommended as programs may sell out. Please call the following for information or reservations: 530.581.8200.
Reminder: Children should be appropriately dressed for the weather conditions, including waterproof clothing, mittens and eye protection. Rates subject to change without notice.

Mountaineers Program (Ages 7-12)
Mountaineers Ski or Snowboard PackageAll packages include lift ticket, lessons, and rental equipment. Lunch is included in full day programs. Pick up your reservation at the Ski and Snowboard School Sales Desk between 8:00-9:00am. A parent must accompany the child through the rental process and have the child on the snow, at the meeting area by 9:45am at the latest. Classes leave promptly at 10am. | |

Tiegel Terrain Park
Designed for little rippers in training, the Tiegel Terrain Park features are modified versions of Alpine’s main park. Packed with rollers, banked turns and quarter-pipes, mini table tops, and a Tuga Tunnel (see for yourself), this park is perfect for beginners and kids of all ages. Serviced by the beginner-level Tiegel Poma surface lift, the Tiegel Terrain Park is adjacent to the base lodge – a mere 30 seconds away.
Spring Camp for Kids
A 5 day camp for 5-16 year olds focusing on racing, all mountain skiing / riding, back country travel, terrain park and avalanche safety/awareness. Participants must be comfortable skiing easy blue terrain and above. There will be alpine, snowboard and telemark groups.
The Spring Camp for Kids will be held TBD for 2011. Groups will meet at 9:00am each day and the program will end at 2:30pm each day. Lunch is not included, but the kids will be supervised through lunch time.
