In Partnership
The ski and snowboard lodge at the base of the Alpine Meadows Subway double chair is home to Disabled Sports, USA, Far West (or DSUSAFW).
The lodge for DSUSAFW was specifically designed for student athletes with disabilities; and more than 600 volunteers and staff members provide instruction and access to Alpine Meadows' nationally recognized slopes each winter.
As the founding chapter of Disabled Sports USA, DSUSAFW is one of the most successful and reputable not-for-profit organizations in the nation. Alpine Meadows is privileged to support DSUSAFW through daily lift ticket donations throughout the winter, complimentary season passes for full-time staff, and tickets and lesson packages for DSUSAFW's beginner students. Alpine Meadows offers year-round support for DSUSAFW fundraising events as well as annual winter events.
Disabled Sports USA, Far West contributes to Alpine Meadows by providing one of the nation's most experienced teams of instructors, volunteers, and dedicated staff. Because of Disabled Sports, Alpine Meadows is able to provide a mountain accessible to anyone with a passion for winter, every winter.
