Alpine Meadows offers a variety of youth ski and snowboard teams and seasonal programs, with options for everyone from those looking to excel in competitions to those just looking to build their skills in a fun, supportive environment.

This program emphasizes skill development in a safe and fun social environment. It also serves as a building block for Alpine's Development Teams. Mountain Rangers is a half-day program running from 9 a.m. - noon. Lunch is not included. Minimum Requirements: Proof of age required. Must be able to ski beginner terrain (Subway) in a gliding wedge, stop without assistance (no edgie wedgies, harnesses, poles, etc.) and be able to load and unload lifts unassisted. |

This noncompetitive program emphasizes skill development in a safe and fun social environment. The Development Teams build and refine skills needed to advance to our competitive teams. Groups meet from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and team sessions include a supervised lunch period with coaches and teammates. Lunch not included. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to ski or snowboard all blue terrain (intermediate skier/rider), linking turns, and must be able to load and unload lifts unassisted. |
Competitive TeamsThese programs offer events for developing skiers and riders to compete with their peers in local venues. The coaching staff for these programs are focused on giving your skier or rider a competitive edge while having fun at Alpine Meadows. |

This program is designed to build skills in all aspects of snowboarding, in a safe and fun social environment. The team will spend time building skills riding all mountain, terrain park, boardercross and more. There is opportunity for entering competitions if your child is interested. Groups meet from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., and team sessions include a supervised lunch period with coaches and teammates. Lunch not included. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to ride all blue terrain (intermediate snowboarder) in control, linking turns, and must be able to load and unload lifts unassisted. |

This program is just what your young telemark skier has been looking for. We focus on skill development, all mountain skiing, safe backcountry travel, avalanche safety, terrain park and more. As with all of our programs, our primary focus is safety. Groups meet from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., and all team sessions include a supervised lunch period with coaches and teammates. Lunch not included. This program is designed to improve your child's all-mountain skiing abilities. Learn to ski the steeps, powder, crud, bumps, jumps, terrain park, skiercross and any other adventurous terrain they can find. There will be several small competitions with other local mountains including Squaw and Sugar Bowl. This is a great team to learn to ski the stuff other people won’t, safely and efficiently. Groups meet from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with an unsupervised lunch. Coaching at local freeride/freestyle events is included. Lunch not included. Read more... This program emphasizes technical skill development, all mountain skiing and gate training. It is semi-competitive and participates in the Tahoe League Race Series and USSA Far West J3/J4/J5 races. Team members work with the same coach throughout the season in a structured, fun environment. Groups meet from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with an unsupervised lunch period. Coaching at Tahoe League Races included. Lunch not included. Minimum Requirements: Team members must be independent and able to ski the entire mountain in most conditions. |

An add-on to all competitive teams, this program allows early race training on weekends and holidays, when weather and conditions permit. This is a great opportunity for your child to get that extra training they need prior to public access on the hill. It also enables us to set courses we would not normally be able to set during business hours. The program runs from 7:30 - 8:45 a.m. |

| Season Locker Rental (Team Member Locker Room) | $280 |

Our team lockers are located behind the information booth, on the first floor of the main lodge. Lockers are 15 inches wide and approximately 6 feet tall and reserved for our ski and snowboard team members. On-mountain lockers make storing your gear that much easier! Price goes up as of November 1 to $300. |
