Snowcat Dining Experience
New for the winter 2009-2010, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort presents the new Mountainside Dining Experience.
Travel in a snow cat to the secluded mid mountain Chalet for a private dinner and an evening of fun with friends and unprecedented house-made fare.
Groups of 15 to 20 enjoy a four-course gourmet meal with choices like smoked salmon crepes; grilled ribeye paired with select wines; crème brûlée; and every accoutrement which conjures the height of delicious, creative cuisine.

- Baby Green Salad with Roasted Heirloom Beets, Bleu Cheese, Walnuts and a Champagne Vinaigrette

- Grilled Ribeye with a Wild Mushroom Pinot Noir Sauce
- Pan Seared Red Trout with an Herbed Goat-Cheese Butter
- Grilled Portobello Mushroom, SunDried Tomato Pesto, Feta Cheese and Basil

Dinner is served at Alpine Meadows' Mid Mountain Chalet; which is a cozy lodge tucked into a valley upslope of the day lodge, encircled by towering Sierra peaks and pine trees. Inside the Mid Mountain Chalet, the warm tones of pine craftsmanship - and the even warmer fireplace - invite guests to lounge and chat with friends, enjoy the stars overhead, or simply gaze out the windows at the view of snow adrift.
Reservations
Reservations are required seven days prior to a Mountainside Dining Experience. Groups of up to 20 guests enjoy the new snow cat tour and dinner from 6pm to 10pm on Saturdays throughout January, February, and March, 2010.
